Intel GMA render glitches
I'm running spring on my laptop in the absolute lowest settings. Everything works fine, except some specific objects. When some objects enter the screen, they have other textures attached to them or cause the minimap to turn white or the text to turn into blocks. It is hard to tell, but I know for s...

Re: [Tutorial] Spring on Mac OS X
Hey, good to see someone take care of Spring for Mac. I don't do much gaming anymore, but I used to maintain that wiki and submit bugs for a while. I was also the first to make a Portfile for Spring I think. Would you mind making the Portfiles publicly available? I heard there is a curse on Mac main...

Re: XTA beginner: need review of my 1v1 game
I played a new game, this time an online one with 0.81.2.
I lost, but I'd like to hear your comments anyway.

@Tribulex
Your game is also 0.81.1 but the strategy sounds interesting.
@SirArtturi
I read the XTA basics one, are there more XTA guides?

Re: XTA beginner: need review of my 1v1 game
Thanks for the replies, I'll try and get another game. Is there any strategy in finding good games? Especially newbie ones with XTA. I can play against my brothers, but most of the time they want to beat AIs together, they fear me, especially on Cooper Hill. I read those wiki pages, nothing really n...

XTA beginner: need review of my 1v1 game
I recently played an XTA game against my brother. With beginner I mean that I lose in most online games but win in most AI games(even E323). I want to get better at XTA, so it would be cool if anyone could look at the replay and give me some feedback. It's a relative short game on cooper hill with o...

Re: Mac OS X Snow Leopard test release
So basically the Mac port is waiting for wxWidgets and SDL to switch to Cocoa and add 64 bit support? I compiled an SVN release of wx to get Cocoa, but I did not try SDL yet. How comes the standard Spring does compile one Mac and your branch does not? Is standard Spring not relying on SDL? Which pro...

Re: Mac OS X Snow Leopard test release
Hey, I'm joining the Mac porting efforts, but I to am cursed, be warned! What I've done so far: Compile the stock spring. Write a portfile for macPots: http://trac.macports.org/ticket/23556 Compile QTLobby. Tried to compile SpringLobby... Failed. I also helped testing some fixes on IRC, like the .so...

Re: New lobby server
Sorry for my stupidity, but I saw a link with a title above it saying download, and in a sort of reflex I automatically downloaded and ran it. I installed git now on my Ubuntu and entered the git clone command I overlooked the first time. It works now!!! So for all Ubuntu people out there wanting to...

Re: RAI v0.601
Why should I compile spring?
Why isn't there a -dbg package in the package manager?
Would it be sufficient to only compile RAI with debug symbols?
I don't really like compiling spring from source, the last time I tried that on Fedora it took me the whole day

I'm sorry to confuse you, I have an iMac, bu that does not mean I run Spring on Mac os X 10.5, I dual boot the 64 bit version of Ubuntu 8.10, and I was trying to run an ai on that. Both the RAI that came with the apt-get bundle and my 'home brew' RAI crash right after the countdown just before the g...

Re: RAI v0.601
Hi, I'm on 64 bit Ubuntu and all bots that come with the deb package crash Spring , so I wanted to compile RAI for myself, i thought that maybe the problem with the package supplied ones is that they are 32 bit. First I tried to use the 64 bit version from jobjol.nl, but that is the wrong version fo...
