Re: KAIK 0.13 Unofficial (Spring 0.77b5)

I'm having this exact same problem, for what it's worth. I can reproduce it easily: O/S: Gentoo Linux 32bit. Spring version 0.77_p5-r1 (r1 denotes ebuild version) Maps: Cooper Hill & Aberdeen I'll put together a basic base, send a scout unit over to the enemy's base, and the com is doing nothing...

Re: KAIK

I could be wrong, but I believe the AI Bots are developed separately from the Spring engine itself.

And "they're" aware of it... take a look at the end of this thread

Re: KAIK

I'm noticing it, too... usually, the AI bot will build a few metal mines, a couple wind power generators, then a bot factory (I'm pulling a blank on their proper names). Then the AI commander just sits there.

Re: Springlobby Compilation Fails on Gentoo: Missing/Lost aui.h?

Thanks for the help! That solved the problem, easy as pie.

The wxwidgets profile was set to a 2.6 release. Changing it to a 2.8 release allowed Springlobby to compile.

Springlobby Compilation Fails on Gentoo: Missing/Lost aui.h?

Springlobby version 0.0.1.0729 works fine. Version 0.0.1.10363 fails to compile... along with all the versions inbetween, if I remember correctly from my attempts to mask the versions that won't compile. mv -f .deps/maintorrenttab.Tpo .deps/maintorrenttab.Po i686-pc-linux-gnu-g++ -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I....
