Re: A spring manual?
1, why is this guide so noobish. cuz ur reading it rong 2, why does it say to ''pick a wise position for your radar'' if their so damn cheap :P This is actually worth responding to. Because terrain will block radar, which is a change from OTA and other games, so a strategically placed radar tower g...

Re: A spring manual?
Right now does anybody actually need a HTML document? Well, when I think about it, html actually has the obvious benefit of being able to be integrated into websites, rather then downloading it first. So if were going to put it on the new spring site it would be better. Excuse me but what do you ne...

Re: Design A New Lobby Client Interface.
stuff Cmon, its not that useless now is it? A new lobby design is somthing people have been wanting for a long time now and is long due to be implemented. Besides, I like yours the best out of all the ones suggested here. It combines the simplicity and familiarity of the current one with the capabi...

Google brings up a few pdf to html converters. I don't really have a problem with pdf but if you want to convert it for whatever reason try searching.

Re: Arm Metal Storage (prerelease screenshot)
Okayz. Thanks again Warlord for faithfully following and making useful long descriptive posts about my texture work, for whatever your reasons may be. I'll give it another shot, though I admit I don't want to stick with it for too long. Cremuss has done better models and I just kinda wanted to...

Re: Arm Metal Storage (prerelease screenshot)
Well I figured that one was better because it was at a more realistic angle to be seen at ingame then the other one, but here you go.

Re: Default Mod syndrome harming spring
I was thinking it'd be a channel where the links were posted every 30 seconds or so, so it's not too fast, and clicking a link could take players to websites with information, etc., and let people browse around, etc. So no, I don't see it as a fast-flowing spam channel, but as a slow-moving display...

Re: Arm Metal Storage (prerelease screenshot)
Okay, I could see that. Saktoth's idea sounds the easiest. But I don't have any scipting knowledge and little in modelling so I really don't know how to go about this.

Re: My Music
Not to burst anyone's bubble, but don't we need a proper music player for spring first?
Though perhaps the music can inspire the creation of the player...hmm.

Re: [WIP] - My TA re-modeling and re-design
Good textures can't be rushed ffs! :p I'll start on the lab right after I get the metal storage done up. HLT is also on my list in the future. But school is starting up for me right quick so I ain't making any deadlines for you guys... :( Besides, Im just starting and still learning to texture. I do...

Re: Concept - "Artist"
It also uses the bloom shader yes no mabye? And yeah, CA would welcome you as a concept artists. We want to get rid of all the OTA units, and not just with TA remodels. We want new designs for Arm and Core (AKA Nova and Logos, in the future) so if you want to do up a few units using our existing spe...

Re: Arm Metal Storage (prerelease screenshot)
Would something like a visual indicator even be possible? If so would we need to go LUA?
If it was, that barrel in the middle could be used for that.

Re: Arm Metal Storage (prerelease screenshot)
Well I can already tell this ones gonna take a few tries to get right.
Ok, more seamless edges, less 3doism, more details, hand edit individual panels more, black below teamcolor... I'll give it a shot.

Arm Metal Storage (prerelease screenshot)
http://spring.clan-sy.com/phpbb/download/file.php?mode=view&id=683 The beige metal is to shiny, and the metal bars need more preshading, but this is a taste of whats to come. Also, I notice that the team color appears faded compared to a 3do model. Say, the Arm Commander. But from what I...
