You do realize its possible to make quasi neutral units on the map already right ? See the "small battle" script for example. Or set up a game with say 3 players, have one player build the stuf you want neutral, then save the game, and vóila you have a 2 player map with neutral units.

That sounds like its easier said than done :/ . I think I´ll rather make my own texture than, as zwzsg suggested.

Of course I haven´t tested it with every graphics card on earth :) . It doesn´t even work for me :D .
