Thanks for your answer but none of these did help. And i do not know if i should really make a bug report. That singleplayer stuff is just confusing since the spring lobby has a singleplayer menu where you can set map mod and ai. Doesnt that usually work? I've installed spring according to that guid...

I am using ubuntu 7.1 and downloaded spring from the repository. I installed some maps and the ca mod. Now it gives my the sound/button9.wav Couldn't open wav file error. I found the solution to that on the install page but it does not work. I dont have the base/springcontent.sdz in my .spring folde...
