Some guy wrote a mod for oblivion with a shader that does that.

I spec probably 70% of the time, as some of my fellow CA players would confirm.

Re: Petition to revert mex cost to 50

Why not just decrease mex hp and keep cost the same? Sure you get less hp per M, but that makes good raiding more devastating and because of the cost it is still hard to rebuild. So instead of 2x cost and 3x hp how about 2x cost and 2x hp? Or even 1.5x hp?

Re: Textures around explosions

Speaking of the new ground scars jK, I don't really like the way they overlap. The fading dirt around the black scar doesn't look right when it overlaps the black part of another scar.

Apparently there are people who enjoy the task of placing tons of metal extractors. Regret is one of them.

Re: Separate menu for user-added LuaUI and mod-added LuaUI

Well if you didn't notice all mod widgets are in the first half of the list with asterisks around them (these *) All user widgets are in the bottom half without asterisks. Also, within those two categories they are all in alphabetical order. The list seems to be organized perfectly fine to me, the o...

Re: Add zooming in the minimap?

IceUI with satirik's fork has a resizable box that the minimap will always be sized to fit into. No zooming though. I'm guessing you don't want to use IceUI though, so maybe you should ask regret to do it in LolUI. What also might be cool is to do what some RTS do and have a mini window that you can...

yeah it will cost e to upgrade them but5 after wards they wont function as metal makers...they can take a bit of e per tick for the sake of "realism" but not amounts that would matter, like t1 mexes in BA. and anyway u can only build one per metal spot. Why have a large jump in economy? Whats wrong ...

Re: none static sandbox RPG

When you were talking about taking ideas from a rogue-like Argh, that got me to thinking. You know those nethack frontends? stuff like falcon's eye, and the gtk graphical interface for nethack? What if you could somehow use spring to make a 3d representation of nethack? You could let the original ne...

Re: LolUI - V1.00

To me the difference is negligible, and it wasn't really a tightly controlled test. I'll probably stick with IceUI, at least until this UI, or chili (quantum's UI project) get some better features than it.

Re: LolUI - V1.00

Seems like it to me, at any rate. What I want to know is does it have an fps hit like IceUI?

I wanna know if its worth the trouble to replace IceUI with this.

Re: LolUI - V1.00

So, lolUI = IceUI - good looks - ingame customizability - extra features (like message seperating for the console) - fps hit ?

A widget to visually smooth LoS updates would be nice, and I'm sure jK could code something to fade units in and out once they enter/leave LoS.
