MAP DOWNLOAD PROBLEM IN LOBBY!!
-HI folks. I have met several people including myself having trouble downloading new maps in the map section of the lobby. It says 'cannot parse map HTML file'. The problem started occurring when i downloded the newest lobby and installed it. I also cleared the cache. I did not have this problem wit...

It is silent - what's being developed for Spring right now ?
Hi Spring gamers! It seems to me that the community is very silent for the moment. Is it just the Christmas holidays that is causing this or is there another reason ? Are people too satisfied with Spring as it is for the moment and just busy gaming or..... Tell people what you are working on right n...

It is not called a Paris gun!
Hi Pxtl. I´m hostorically very interested in the first World War and I can't help saying that it is not called a "Paris Gun". It is actually and funny enough called a "Big Bertha". The name "Big Bertha" orginates from this war, since Bertha was a common German name i...

Excellent idea!
I think this is an excellent idea for Spring. It is not enough just to let the trees block the line of sight. The radar can still spot the units. When pressing a certain F-key it should also be possble to see the area where you hide your units. It means that units should also be invisible when hidin...

The #2 item on my wishlist
Camera modes needs to be fine tuned. -All camera modes should be changed so that it is possible to exceed the map and look at it from a perspective that lies outside the map area. This will make it easier to control buildings and units at the edges of the map. - The default TA camera mode should be ...

Map hardness and unit tag
Hi folks! Am I the only one who thinks it affects the gameplay in a negative way, when map hardness is set very low ? I often end up in a situation where I cannot pass through any area with vehicles and the unit tag setting how steep a mountain/hill a unit can handle, makes this problem even bigger....

The price for the teleportation could be something like: Energy consumption to teleport: Unit metal price * static energy factor * distance in pixels I want the unit metal price to decide how much energy it costs to teleportate because teleportation is about using energy to create mass and vice vers...

Teleportation
I think in stead of having a cannon firing units, we should have a teleportation plant instead. An it should consume huge amounts of energy when running and it should cost a lot of energy and metal to buld it. It would give someone who is being attacked and sourrounded by enemies the ability to coun...

It looks good with the new laser, I think.
But it will be a bit easier to guess where the laser turret is if you cant see it!!

Move points, area selection
What I think could be extremely cool would be if you could choose a unit that you want to order and then click on the map afterwards. This will then be the move point for that specific unit. In this way you can have several move point for the different units, which makes it easy to sort the units if...

3 points!
Good initiative Doomweaver! 1) Keep the build menu and the command menu seprated to avoid having to go through numerous menus in the heat of the battle. 2) Move the command menu to the bottom to the right of the statistics for three reasons: Firstly, you will avoid having to move the mouse from the ...

Flak firing at ground units is realistic
Hi Flak guns firing at ground units is realistic. Fx Rommels German 88 mm Krupp canons were used in the battle at El Alamein in WW2 to knock out Montgomery's tanks. :-) Also, the flak guns takes up a huge portion of the number of units you can have, so it would be stupid if they did not serve any pu...

Spring and community size
I am for the minispring version and voted yes. But I really think that it is important that a decision is made on this and both spring and minispring should not co-exist in a release right now. My argumentation is quite simple: Our community is still very small and I believe it will suffer from two ...

I would like to hear the Swedish guys comment on this topic! Whats your view on TA Spring mini - will you make it standard? I think we need an answer or decision for now, since it affects the 3rd party development a lot. For instance the map making has almost stopped after we started this discussion...

Another possible bug
I have noticed several times that if I choose my commander, selects a building to build from the build menue and then wants to return to the map without building anything, then I can´t click anywhere on the map to come back without either constructing a building (left click!) or giving my command...
