I changed the turret a bit and put the cocpit somewhere else, it also only has 374 tris.

I tried to make something that isnt a clone so this is my try at an origional arm hover; tank ; whatever it looks like to you guys.

It only has 348 tris.

Edit: sry, didnt see the render was broken, added a viewport screen.

I really dont like the idea of an Limit tore specific units , in think that it should be balanced that if you do have 2 units of one type (most likely a powefull one) then its the enemys fault of letting you have 2 of them. It would suck if you could only have 1 krogoth because of some limit . Havin...

The Vent slits are all just 1 face each (2 tris)

Here is what ive done to the turret now + you can see the tricount at the top left of the viewport.

If I lift the turret up do I need to build a rotating platform or can I just leave it floating seeing as most of the time you wont be seeing it from that angle anyway.

Fixed, thx for pointing that out. Here's how it looks now. I also optimised it a bit and did some things to the barrel so now the tri count is 786 Edit:optimised more: 774 Edit:and some more: 750 I think thats all i can squeez out of it though. Thanks for the good feedback. And to youre question, I use maya. Arm Hover

This is my first model for spring , an arm hover tank.
Im preety new to modeling so tell me what you think and what to change.

I did my best do save tris, it has 782.
