Re: again on autogen.sh
Debian has update-alternatives command for managing those symlinks as it has far more software than just automake that can have multiple versions installed in parallel. I know, but the truth is everybody forget about this alternative configurations, even when you know they exist. This is just becau...

again on autogen.sh
Sorry to come back again on this small issue. semi replied to my bug ticket explaining that I needed automake-1.10 . I had automake-1.10 installed already. On some system like debian, you can have several version of automake living together, so I had automake-1.10 and automake-1.9 . In /etc/alternat...

deb package
I can try to make deb package if this helps. Is anyone working on .deb package already ? I don't mind doing the job alone, just want to know what has been done.
(and I'm not running ubuntu, so I might need some help from Ubuntu users to make proper deb for this distro).

is there a server working with the previous version ?
Hi guys and congratulations with the work. Trouble with new release is quite logical, especially when changes are numerous. I'm trying to get some new people addicted to spring so I was wondering if there were still a server up compatible with the 0.74b3 version, which seems more stable and is there...

thanks
for the answers.
Do you know if there are any option I could change (and how) to help the game consume less cpu and gpu ? I imagine changing the resolution should have some effects, but likely, there should be other things possible.

why spring needs so much resources compare to original ta ?
Hi, I used to play total annihilation on old computers, like a PII at 400Mhz with 128ram and an old graphic card as well. Playing against a bot with a reasonable number of units will never result in a slow down of the computer. I got spring installed on my linux Debian/Sid P4 2,8Ghz, 512ram, 64gram ...
