check if you have stdoutdebug=1 in your .springrc; setting such value to 0 fixed the black screen problem here
That did the trick. Thank you very much!

And if that should be important: Because I was unable to find a unitsync in the folders "emerge" installed the lobby client and the game. So I extracted the source archive und compiled one myself:
scons configure
scons unitsync

Is this infolog.txt from an online play attempt? Yes, it is. Locate the script.txt that SpringLobby generates and paste it somewhere. You can be the only player in the match for this. script_springlobby.txt: http://pastebin.ca/656260 script_springlobby_debug.txt: http://pastebin.ca/656262 Oh and pl...

Rabe, are everyone of you using spring version 0.75b2? I think so - it were just normal games over the lobby. Can you host a game where you are the only player? No. Same problem there. Paste infolog.txt somewhere. http://pastebin.ca/656197 How did you install springlobby? As mentioned there: http:/...

For me the client works fine - until I try to play.
Launching a game hosted by me leads to a black screen for me and the other players unable to connect. When a game hosted by someone else is launched, the loading screen stays forever.

My OS is a 64bit version of Gentoo Linux. Any suggestions?

hmm, its my understanding that ti onyl ever builds minimaps when the login progress bar shows, meaning you could never login. No, it is different. At the first time the program tries to create minimaps. In fact, there are minimap-files created, the program crashes and leaves them without content. A...

are you sure you're not running the SVN version? I DO have the actual SVN version (svn checkout from https://taspring.clan-sy.com/svn/spring/trunk). Which one should I use instead? However I beleive I saw you in the lobby so I'm not sure if its been corrected or not. Yes, I can join the lobby. The ...

Argh! has been kind enough to compile his 64bit unitsync: http://files.argh.ch/unitsync.so -> try using this one. That did not change anything but forcing me to make new links to "libboost_regex.so" and "libboost-thread-mt.so.1.33.1"(I have boost version 1.34.0). Crashes, too. r...

I simply compiled my unitsync.so with scons unitsync in my trunk folder, renamed it to "libjavaunitsync.so" and put it in /usr/share/games/spring. But minimap functionality is not available. When I add a new map to /usr/share/games/spring/maps and try to join the lobby with aflobby it cras...

It's definitely a spring issue then. Sorry, don't know how to help; if it doesn't affect gameplay then i recommend just ignoring it.
I can't ignore it, because the game does not start after the message.

And yes, it is a spring issue - driving me mad slowly.

Did you extract package 1 into "~/.aflobby"?
Definitely yes. I get that error with the ta:spring test scripts, too.

With this new version of AFLobby I was able to join or host a battle, but when I want to start a game I always get:
Missing default cursor
How to fix that?

Linux support still needs to be properly sorted; everything should be up and running perfectly next version (repositories!) You know around when that shall be released? In the mean time; are you sure you're using the latest SVN? -> "svn checkout https://taspring.clan-sy.com/svn/spring/trunk&qu...

I compiled a 64bit version of unitsync now using the command cons unitsync in the 'trunk' folder. But now aflobby gives me - shortly after loading my new libjavaunitsync.so - another error in the console: AFLobby beta1 Release candidate JSync Setup # # An unexpected error has been detected by Java R...
