Chris Taylor would know of TA spring community, if youd notce, hes been taking features from Spring and putting them in Supcom, not to mention the fact the he has on a few occasions mentioned of TA Spring

It might for me be straightforward for putting it into supcom, im a skilled modder for sure and if correctly done it may just be as simple as exporting the 3do to 3ds with uv map, import into blender and export as a .sca and i could then use a simple .bp file to import the unit.

There could be a torrent lurking about somewhere, with the expansion. Mabye i might decide to implement TAK into Supcom, imagine like huge armies of dragons on 20km maps

I used to love doing that, I would play aramon on a castle map and just fortify myself with strongholds, the enemies would get blasted making a nice soothing crunch

Zohn wasn't really that hard to micro, i mean all that you could do was shift click or do ctrl click and that makes the unit build more of that type continusly.

That reminds me of something, I played this one mod that did have a mele unit and it worked find, if i can find out where that was or what it was (should hopefully be on my HDD (i think)) and i may be able to see how this works. That should hopefully loosen the workload on that lua script proposition

Actually iv'e also found gif to allow alpha tranparencies as i have done when converting half the textures but i dont know if that works

I think for the textures, what we have got to do is create a UV map for the model and add the textures on. The textures have got to be like jpg or dds as bmps have no support for alpha transparancy. One problem for me though is how on earth do you do that

what texture editor are you using, i cant find anything that supports alpha or has some form of straight forward way of doing so. please provide url.

I can try but im not that good at scripts, i only found this project in an abandoned place thats why i am hosting this forum to find people that could help and carry on the project anyway i need either of theese 2: people or an understandable tutorial on how to do a full unit script btw, what colour...
