GlobalTestAI results in the same as the Commanders 1000 Res script. Really, try playing online. Even if an AI can handle building it doesn't know any strategies so it won't be able to deal with many situations that would require more than just throwing more units at the problem. well the KAI-0.12.s...

the LUA option is for singleplayer missions. (find them on unknown files, escort the convoy and island defense i think) I think the units were taken from the old TA but same things had to be changed so they work in spring. But spring is more than a copy of TA, you will notice if you try some mods :...

I just wonder, did you remake the units and buildings in the game (I'm talking about the original first Mod) , or you just took them as they were from the original TA ?

I've made a clean install of Ubuntu Edgy and installed spring
but I get this error every time I choose a map and a mod :

Segmentation fault (core dumped)

what can be the problem and were do I get more info of the problem (log?) ?

at that time this was the easiest way to install spring under Ubuntu.

The open r300_dri.so driver works, but it's beta software. On my 64bit memory X700 it crashes with spring for unknown reasons without a pattern. I used the one that came with Ubuntu Edgy for the first time and it couldn't run a single 3d game properly.

press b, what do the graphs say is sapping your cpu power? Also NTai should print out a message at the start of the game saying its version, can you see what version it is? I'm using the old version 0.71b in the debspring site. (it is not updated anymore), I have problems installing the new version...
