If you need a pianist, I am more than qualified. Finished up to grade 10 (there are 11 grades, the last one is the ARCT. That's a legal title. And it takes 4 years to complete) in the RCM program here in Canada. Unfortunately I only have an upright piano; I do not own a synthesiser or a decent micro...

Re: The Physics of Space Battles
True. But on a positive note, the recoil from large guns won't throw your ship to fast from the opposite direction. I mean battleships are nuclear powered iirc, large space craft would probably require the same ammount of energy. But also you could say that large hull plating could be useless as in ...

Re: The Physics of Space Battles
Because of the tremendous velocities involved and a total lack of atmospheric friction, a conventional weapon wouldn't need to have much mass at all to cause catastrophic damage. It's an often-repeated story that technicians find things like tiny paint chips and such stuck an inch into the space sh...

Don't get me wrong, BSG gave me a woodie seeing vipers, the only fucking manned spacecraft which understood it was in SPACE ( seriously, seeing x-wings having to make attac...

I can't recommend ZoneAlarm either, i used to use it and it basically reset it's settings every like week or so. Then id constantly have to add programs and tell it to remember them and it was just a fucking a hassle............

Re: Censorship rant
Swearing opens a deeper and broader range of emotions in film. I'd have to disagree. Swearing has become so commonplace that it evokes little or no emotion at all. When you spout profanities like that it makes you look uneducated, crass, and not capable of expressing yourself properly. That said, I...
