Spring RTS Engine

I'm guessing no one knows of a sollution? My friend is thinking it might be a mistake with the networking. Since him and another friend of his was playing the game together in the same house. His friend had a ping of 1300ms but on his screen nothing was lagging. So the number may go up to around 130...

Router? Yes I use a router. I forwarded my ports already too. dynamic water causes this effect for me, probably because having it on uses so much CPU/GPU time that the ping signals get delayed Razz but that lowers my FPS to tiny levels as well, so I presume that you've got something else... I have a problem with my game. Whenever I play on a small map with one other person my ping is around 300ms. When the game speed is increased it goes up to 1300ms. Then, on the bigger maps my ping goes up to 13000ms. It's a weird problem since I get lag even when I host. I tried turning some options...
