I think that may be caused by Mediawiki having more restrictions on usernames, like not allowing underscores in names. Guess it would be nice if the phpbb auth plugin actually mentioned this at least.

Updated to latest mantis version, seems to be working again.

They are the reason why the dll is actually called unitsync. :) They implement the same method TA used for syncing which units to enable, and was used by the first lobby client. But I would agree that they are of no use today..
