When I saw this thread title in the active topics list, I thought someone had made Tabula for a Command & Conquer game, which would've been awesome. I wasn't expecting this. This is even more awesome! If I didn't live in Europe (and I wasn't broke), I'd probably ask for a (paid) commission

Yes, let's ban all games involving anything remotely similar to violence! And send anyone who plays them off to rehabilitation camps to rid them of their violent tendencies! Seriously, if this gets through they're gonna feel it in the economy. Games = big business, banning violent video games = all ...

Welcome to Spring, we're all very happy you're enjoying yourself (and just ignore the trolls who don't :P)! As for your questions: 1.) Yes. Although IIRC bots are broken in the current version, and adding an AI causes a crash upon game start. Also, you have to download (or, if you've got the skills ...
for the record, moving backwards would require additional cob callouts anyway; animation during reversing in general isn't the same as when going forward (e.g. on walkers). Which is why it should be entirely optional; if you want your units to back up, you'll have to put more work into them. I don'...
Oh, just a quick disclaimer: Despite my comments earlier in the thread, I do support this request fully. Back when this was still TASpring, I recall the rationale being that TA units never moved backwards as well, but now, with so many non-TA mods (or mods only inspired by TA, e.g. CA, NOTA), that r...
I'm pretty certain they were turreted units with full coverage, moving backwards to make a turn. I think I even did it in FPS mode once or twice.Argh wrote:They don't, not really. They just appear to.
I'm currently pretty much addicted to Red Orchestra: Ostfront '41-'45, but it's basically multiplayer-only. Yes, there is a singleplayer option, but all you're doing is playing multiplayer maps with bots instead of other people. And the bots are retarded. Basically, the game is a fairly realistic WW...

Like Neddie said, there are mods and there are games. As Imba pointed out, KP and S44 are very different and in no way related - except for the engine they both share. America's Army, Deus Ex and (of course) Unreal all use the Unreal Engine. Does that make them mods of each other?

uhhh join the military... Too lazy, fat and lazy. Besides, I just want to fire them, not shoot them at people before they shoot me. I wouldn't last twenty seconds in a real combat situation. Hell, I'm a pacifist at heart, war = bad, it's just the guns that are cool. I know a lot of those mainly fro...
Printing out your own Merchandisign.. how much better can it get? This , which only costs about Ôé¼500 as opposed to Ôé¼20,000. :P For me, it'd be firing several types of weapons - in order from most DO WANT to Oh yeah, cool!, they're -MG42 -FN P90 -XM8 -Pancor Jackhammer -Panzerschreck -Steyr AMR/...
It's just that I think that scouting is one of the most important and game deciding aspects of a game and so Core has quite a disadvantage here... Finks are still as cheap as ever. Sure, they may not be up there with the high-and-mighty spy planes, but if you send out, say, 20 or so, you'll likely ...
