Re: uberserver can't register

For now, you'll need to downgrade your Springlobby to 0.260, and conect to your local uberserver without using TLS, because of this bug https://github.com/springlobby/springlobby/issues/828 http://springlobby.info/windows/SpringLobby-0.260.exe Thanks, now it works! btw, i can't register (but can lo...

Re: uberserver can't register

Which version(s) of uberserver and SL did you use? What happens if you try to register the same username twice? 0.266 from windows/192.168.0.14 and 0.264-79-gc6c036d58 from host on linux ( compiled ), gives the same result latest uberserver, af3b0b2 ( even tried older ones! ) As shown in the log, i...

Re: Compiling the engine but also making it available to be used with server hosting

...you get the name ( git describe --tags ) "104.0.1-675-ga7f92cfe6". Where do you get this name? I've always self-compiled engines (using the Gentoo ebuild overlay at https://github.com/springlobby/overlay) and I can both join public rooms with it without Springlobby asking for download AND I host...

I can get the short tag name in the console yes, but i don't know how to tell the compiling process to use that tag and so it does not name the executable and libraries,etc.. with the unwanted version name.

Compiling the engine but also making it available to be used with server hosting

By compiling spring from ex. git maintance branch you get the name ( git describe --tags ) "104.0.1-675-ga7f92cfe6". However, all the binary releases from buildbots have 2 less letters, like not 104.0.1-675-ga7f92cfe6 but 104.0.1-675-ga7f92cf. This creates a problem, when springlobby wants do downlo...

Assembling an sd7 from pool

Is there a possibility that you can share games/maps downloaded by pooling (pr-downloader/rapid) by assembling somehow an sd7 from your pool folder? Also is there a possibility that then the other person can disassemble that sd7, like when you use the pr-downloader to download and it downloads the s...

Assembling Chicken Defense

- for ex. ba or test ba and spring 104. I've cloned https://github.com/Spring-Helper-Projects/Chicken-Defense and looked at the ba chicken def. so i renamed luaai and modoptions from txt to lua and copied modinfo.lua and changed the dependency to ba 9.54 and it seemed to work perfectly fine, added a...

Hiding system info/specifications from spring/Balanced Annihilation

Is it possible? I did it via changing i *think* system.lua gadget but my status in lobbies (with unmodified BA) becomes unsynced. Any way to turn this off natively so that i dont become unsynced?
