OK. I changed the key binding for the draw key as follows:
uikeys.txt ->
I had multiple bindings for DrawInMap ...maybe that caused the problem.
I let you know if it works.

Problem with Map Doodles
I sometimes have the problem that i cant get out of the "drawing mode". If I try to select a unit it places a beacon. I didnt find a way to regain control over my units when this happens.
Any suggestions?

Ok this tool did the trick...but i see this only as a workaround solution. I hope the refresh rate issue will be fixed in the next spring release.Fractal wrote:well, one could use ReForce to get around most windows refresh rate issues:

Is it just me, or is the display frequency setting broken? Spring gives me a steady 60 Hz, regardless of the value I enter in settings.exe. same problem here... :( I checked the settings in the registry: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SJ\spring DisplayFrequency = 85 ...seems to be correct I have a GeFo...
