Spring RTS Engine

is there any thing i can turn on or off to improve performance? also if i don't launch the game with spring lobby, does the game put the bots in random spots like total annihilation? and does having the game on 800x600 resolution make the game run a little better?

in the windows search bar i found testspring and testspring (safemode). is that the right one? and also does having the game at a lower resullution, does it run better?

tyope spring exe safe mode in cmd or the idrectory

i cant find safe mode from the command line because no one told me what it was. cmd doesnt work for this so it cant be that. can some one show me what the command line looks like and how to find it?

what do you mean from a commannd line? like the cmd thing? can you tell me how to get there? i found testspring and testspring(safemode), but i dont think thats the right one.

what is pbo? and is there a way to disable or turn explosions to low graphics? and if i turn off shadows will i still need pbo on?

is the info log the error message? it just crashes without displaying one,also when i get to the game, is there something in the settings to have explosions low detaild or off?

how would i start a game of spring? would i do it with spring lobby or spring exe.?

my game crashes while loading. there`s no error message,and it says it just stops responding. i have two 2.4 GHz processors. do i need to deselect one to run the game? or do i need to start up the game through something other then spring lobby?
