Hi, thanks for your advice.
SpringLobby was also giving me bad CPU problems, so I changed to qtLobby which is fine. So even though Spring has the same sim-time eating problem which it had before, I can now play games at least without CPU-lagging out completely.

Re: Enormous CPU usage
So basically, if the sim time is going nuts there's nothing I can do? Just a bug in the new version of spring?

Re: Enormous CPU usage
After trying a few more times, the thing which is eating up the CPU mid game for me is resoundingly 'Sim Time'. Does anyone know what that is, or have any ideas to reduce its impact?
Thanks in advance

I pressed alt-b, and the 3 biggest CPU users were 'simulation' followed by the 2 'draw' ones. I'm using an NVidia car...

Stereoscopic Drivers
Hi, I just got some stereoscopic 3D glasses (wireless edimensional shutter ones) which work with almost all games which use openGL, eg. Quake1-4, Battlefield, and the Supreme Commander beta. I think all this heirachy powertrip moderator stuff is silly. All you need is to be able to right click on someones name and click 'ignore'. This will cure any problem you may have, from people that are insulting, to spammers. fullstop.
