Nice job on the consistent perspective in the background on that first image, however Snipa's quote illustrates a little trick you can use with perspective to dra...

Sounds like getting some automated unit testing going for the core classes in the engine would be very beneficial. Having predictable and repeatable unit tests will provide much more confidence that a given build will free of *major* bugs. The added benefit of this is that it reduced the reliance on...

hunger is a great and powerful motivator. People will not starve and die, they will get hungry, go work, make money, and eat. Blanket statements such as these only serve to show that you have put little thought into what in actuality are complex issues. These sorts of issues are best resolved throu...

GMN, you seem to have a reasonable grasp on the proportions of the bodies of your characters, though as KDR said, the proportions of the faces are way off, and ultimately its the face of a character that conveys the personality of that character, so its the most important bit to get right. When I fi...

1.69 something In the perfect body, everything uses that ratio, for example, the joins in your finger, the bit between your palm and the first is 1.69 longer than the next bone along and so on to the finger tips. The closer to this ratio things appear, the more 'pretty' we itnerpret them as. The sa...

There seems to be a bit of confusion over trademarks and copyrights here. Simply put a copyright protects a specific work, i.e a book, song, peice of software etc. and prevents you from using copies (or a very close approximation) of all or part of the work (this excludes fair use which governs usin...

just tell me if you dont think these units are balenced out enough. you're joking right? I've never been one to subscribe to the argument that an uber unit being reeeaally expensive makes it balanced, I've always found that games that are balanced in this way to be rather annoying because g...
