Re: Spring Crashes on Shadowhandler/DecalHandler

I essentially set everything to safemode settings and it worked. I then turned Decals on, and it worked. I turned Shadows on, and it worked, i turned luashaders on, and it worked. The rest i left as safe mode settings would have had it, and thats good enough for me. Perhaps because i had uncompresse...

Re: Spring Crashes on Shadowhandler/DecalHandler

Thanks for all your help guys, i'm hoping we can get this all figured out pretty soon. I used safemode and it worked okay, so i'm trying to figure out whats going on in that respect. As far as i know i've turned both Shadows and Ground Decals off, but i'm also pretty inexperienced with how exactly t...

Re: Spring Crashes on Shadowhandler/DecalHandler

I did that, and it still crashes at the same point. Again, Spring 94.1 has absolutely no issues. I set my shadows to 0 and my decals to 0, but it still cannot create the shadow/decal handler during loading.
.:EDIT:.

Didn't try safe mode will do now
Edit #2, sorry, how does one put safemode on?

Having downloaded and tested Spring 94, it works perfectly. Its only Spring 95 that has issues :S

Spring Crashes on Shadowhandler/DecalHandler

Hey! i keep getting a crash during loading, i have had it work once, but only once. I updated my graphic drivers to the latest ones. Infolog.txt below [ParseCmdLine] command-line args: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Spring\spring.exe" Using configuration source: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Sprin...

Re: Noob questions: Fat-Boy counter?

Its true that making lots of LLT's at the beginning isn't a good idea lol. Our game has been slowly evolving, in our first games we both sat around shooting big berthas at each others plasma shields so its been improving :P. We both play other RTS's, and TA is just... different in a lot of ways. Als...

Re: Noob questions: Fat-Boy counter?

Yeah, we're pretty bad :P. Like I said, I'm skeptical about working too hard to get better other than playing my friend, as I already win most of the matches. I have watched a few replays, and you need to remember we started from 0 experience and were pretty much just learning. The second replay (on...

Re: Noob questions: Fat-Boy counter?

That is the map. I'm going to post two replays, first the one of the Oasis, and then the most recent one we've played. If you guys want to comment on how games can be improved, please do comment for both myself (ExKGB) and my friend (Zorch713). Because if I get way better than him it stops being fun...

Re: Noob questions: Fat-Boy counter?

Thank you! I assume these counters work for Sumo as well. Although often constant pressure is what will do it, the match that prompted me to ask this question was a little odd. Firstly, neither of us are very good. We've had 20 odd games and are still learning the ins and outs. anyway we were playin...

Noob questions: Fat-Boy counter?

Hey! Me and my friend often 1v1 and I'm having trouble. He often turtles and techs straight to T2 Kbots, at which point he pumps out stupid amounts of fat boys, coupled with Lvl1 AA kbots. He then either sits on a hill and protects himself while he builds a big bertha, or rushed 30+ fat boys at my b...

Re: Spring Randomly began freezing on Luarules

You also need to remember that it worked fine using these exact settings. So I don't know what could have happened. The Infolog was exactly as I found it when I checked last. Sorry for breaking formatting, thank you for putting it in pastebin. .:EDIT:. I turned off a lot of settings and it actually ...

Spring Randomly began freezing on Luarules

I was playing Balanced Annihilation with my friend and it was working fine. When i restarted my computer and tried to play spring it hung on "treedrawer". That was righted by simply turning off 3D trees. Now spring hangs whilst loading Luarules, and I have no idea why. I've tried reinstall...
