Spring RTS Engine

everytime i try to add bots in single or multiplayer it freezes i am running ubuntu

what are the commands in spring

how do i fix lag

well i typed it into terminal but it only works without the br at the end

which one am i lookin at

every time i play my screen and everything on it is white except for the starting bot and the hovercraft factory.
ps:(im new to the game)
