is there way to speed it up? the GUI, it uses wxWidgets, but it's extremely slow. QtLobby is much more faster (but abandoned). switch between battle room and chat takes almost complete_votekick time. same is battle join time =) I'm on Ubuntu if it's important. as far it's the most important concern ...
