Summary0000068: Behavior of FALL scripting event
Descriptionzwzsg has observed, and I have verified, that objects subject to FALL explosion events explode when they hit the ground, instead of disappearing after bouncing off the ground.

This is not "correct" classic TA behavior, and prevents modders from making units that eject shell casings, have parts falling off due to damage, etc.

If the development team would like a demonstration model built to show this behavior occuring, let me know- it's very straightforward, scripting-wise, although it may be a thorny issue, animation-engine-wise, although I'd think that making something disappear instead of being replaced by a particle effect should be trivial.
Additional InformationHardware:

Athlon XP 2800+
1024MB DDR 3200 RAM
Windows XP Pro, current as of last security update.
GeForce 6600GT, 128MB
Using Asus motherboard, Via chipset.

Have you looked at classic units that eject casings? The vulcan or bertha both shoot a case out after firing, and they (the casings) don't explode, if I remember correctly.

Is this still a problem?

If so can you give clear reproduction instructions (maybe a small mini mod with one unit?)
