| Description | Shift does not work, arrow keys do not work, escape does not work, basically I have been unable to get the program to respond to any keyboard input. This happens both when I launch spring from command-line and when I use springlobby to launch it. Alt+f2 to switch workspace was apparently fruitless, but ctrl+q to kill the program worked. | ||||

any difference between fullscreen and windowed mode? (spring -f and spring -w) |

Yes, it works in window mode :) |

Do you have some kind of focus stealing prevention enabled (settings of your window manager, like compiz, kwm, metacity, xfwm etc.)? This may, and only may, I'm not sure about this, prevent spring from getting focus at game start. greetings |
