Summary | 0006345: DXT5 textures for real alpha blending
Description | Spring doesn't currently support real alpha blending. In fact when I tried to load a DXT5 compressed particle texture it just crashed in my face. It would be nice if spring could support DXT5/alpha blending, if only for particle sprites. Alpha tested particles look bad and force you to keep alpha blending levels for the whole particle at <0.3 so you don't get a lot of wiggle room for implementing bright lightning-flash effects and things of that nature.
