Summary0000571: Torpedo weapons shoot at the sea floor under ships, rather than at the ships themselves
DescriptionWhilst this could be considered minor, the problem is that if the sea floor is too far down below the target, or if the target's hitsphere is too small (or both), the torpedo will miss

Torpedo weapons shoot at a unit, not at the ground below it. I've never seen this happen.

However, if given an attack ground order, they will shoot at the seafloor, not the water. This is bad if trying to force-fire to attack ghosts, or submerged units you dont have sonar coverage of.

Of course, if they shot at the surface of the water rather than the seafloor, it would mean they cant hit units on the seafloor instead. Something like KDRs widget that causes units to attack on a plane level to it could probably be adapted (with a toggle) to help that problem, if that is the problem Guessmyname is having.
