| Summary | 0004595: game shouldn't end when connection is lost to gameserver | ||||||||
| Description | currently spring ends a game when connection is lost to the game-server. this isn't needed, game could still continue! maybe ai's / players wouldn't move any more, but simulation could still continue. idk, if thats easy possible, but imo it should this would make it easier to restart servers when a game is running: no need to wait for spring-dedicated to exit for chicken defense games / singleplayer games. (zero-k has a lot of singleplayer games running on server) | ||||||||
| Additional Information | nice gimmick would be a lua callin like connectionlost which allows the game to start some AI's for the player(s). | ||||||||

basically done apart from the final piece (creating a local replacement server from the setup script), which I don't feel like adding yet. |
