| Summary | 0000442: Clipping issue with building on enemy cloaked mexes | ||||
| Description | All construction units may build on enemy cloaked mexes if their stealth is not deactivated before construction begins. Though the stealth is deactivated after the new building is complete, some buildings (ie. Moho Metal Extractor) are large enough to cover up the Twilight mex completely. Though this is easily avoided by destroying the cloaked mex when noticing the red patch on the metal map view, it happens frequently without being noticed by the player especially when trying to micro the placement of mexes efficiently. This can have a significant effect on the player's metal income if this happens more than a few times as the new mex has close to zero metal production. Perhaps the addition of some kind of script that lets the construction unit reclaim the cloaked mex or that simply cancels the build order during encounters of this type would solve the problem. I'm not sure how much this has to do with the spring engine versus the mod (Balanced Annihilation 4.7) itself. | ||||
