Summary0004388: store X/YResolution for windowed / fullscreen mode in separate
DescriptionWhen I press alt+enter it does toggle windowed/fullscreen, which is awesome, but for the fullscreen resolution it picks 1600*900 (windowed i use 1400*900) whereas my screen resolution is actually 1920x1080 - as a result Spring looks oversized and slightly streched.

Using win7 and -435.

does it work when when setting XResolution/YResolution to 0?

your screen doesn't support 1400x900 as fullscreen resolution it seems, this is why spring picks 1600x900 i guess as its the closed one to the specified resolution.

Indeed, my screen doesn't support 1600x900 as fullscreen resolution. But the point here is that I was expecting to use different windowed size and fullscreen size for spring - for windowed I want 1400x900 and for fullscreen I want my (native resolution) of 1920x1080.

If I set Xres & Yres to 0 then it does recognize my screen size correctly, but it then runs windowed mode as a 1920x1080 window, which (at least on Windows) is too inconvenient a size to use.

you can:

not sure if thats correct, but this is how it works without config tag:

switch to windowed mode, resize window, switch to full screen mode


-> full screen mode is similar resolution to the window size it was before.

i.e. change window size to 800x600
switch to fullscreen mode
full screen mode is 800x600.

imo this is fixable!
