| Summary | 0004054: 94.1.1-1353 Homing missiles miss radar dots of flying units. |
|---|
| Description | In 91.0 MissileLauncher weapons with tracks=true always hit air units which are not on the ground. They do this by tracking the radar dot for a time until they are within a certain distance of the unit at which point they track the real location of the unit.
This behaviour is not present in 94.1.1-1353 which is a problem because I rely on it to make long ranged AA useful. I could set the radar wobble to 0 for these units but then other weapon types would be able to hit them perfectly so this is not a solution. I see that the behaviour was a bit of arcane hardcoded behaviour so could it at least be readded as a weaponDef tag which causes a weapon to fire (and track) at the real location of the unit instead of it's radar dot. |
