This is happening! I have this issue: http://springrts.com/mantis/view.php?id=3669 . When I test with latest version (I think 80bb6xxxxx) and I timeout while waiting for connection, the Springsettings is reset the second time I try. |

latest version uses a different path for springsettings.cfg. are both config files empty? |

Did not realize there is different path. I do not know where to check for second path. The one that I reporting is in mydocument/mygames/spring/springsetting.cfg |

ok, I have done checked and rechecked again (using Spring 94.1.1-97-gf2c6a7f), with the timeout in 0003669 still happen) and it reset the Springsetting.cfg at mydocument/mygames/spring/springsettings.cfg and from infolog it is using: 1. Using configuration source: "C:\Users\User\Documents\My Games\Spring\springsettings.cfg" 2. Using additional configuration source: "C:\Users\User\Documents\My Games\Spring\engine\94.1.1-99-g57b4189\springsettings.cfg" 3. Using additional configuration source: "C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\springsettings.cfg" ( http://pastebin.com/TMsB6ev8 ) --- But it doesn't reset everything, the following is the settings not reset: http://pastebin.com/guUr9Q4B I have try using empty Springsetting.cfg and configure new value into it but the same thing happen. It reset them all except those settings. One noticeable thing is: advUnitShading keep being turn ON while I keep repeatedly turn it OFF, hardwareCursor keep being turn OFF while I keep repeatedly turn it ON. |

This occurs in 94.1. I tested ZK 9893 on Oxygen1 with springsettings_before.cfg. When Spring starts the file turned into springsettings_after.cfg but ingame my settings were fine. On subsequent games the settings were wrong. |

Before assigning it to someone, could you supply a proper report??? I already said too less info You need to supply the infolog.txt, all loaded configfiles, ... This could have been fixed ages ago, when you would just supply proper reports! |

I don't assign reports. If the report is set to feedback then the person who set it to feedback is automatically set to assigned once the reporter responds. I don't have the rights to change the Status of tickets. Mantis does this automatically. |

The bug does not occur if springsettings.cfg is put in engine folder. General settings folder (in ZKL scheme) -> 'Documents\My Games\Spring' Engine folder -> 'Documents\My Games\Spring\engine\94.1.1-162-gab09935' |

To reiterate. springsettings.cfg is read correctly from either the engine folder or the general folder. The springsettings.cfg in the engine folder is not cleared at the start of every game. The springsettings.cfg in the general folder is cleared at the start of every game. |

try again, made a few commits that may fixed it. |
