| Description | Would be nice to get kill-using-namespace-streflop merged to develop so we can build and test spring on bleeding edge distros (archlinux in my case). Also, it is probably a good idea to check that spring builds on e.g. archlinux before release. I suspect that spring 89 in archlinux repo with its big patch is not 100% compatible with an unpatched 89, i think so because i have seen some desyncs when playing 89 on archlinux. | ||||

Sorry, I did not look into it in detail since i was aiming to be able to play zk on my box. First i tried to patch 88 source so i could build it on an up to date arch. I made a lot of math namespace changes and the small boost 1.50 fix but sadly i ended up desyncing quite often .. I beleive i inserted math:: in to many places. So my first thought was perhaps i shall stick to BA with distro 89 until zk gets in sync with latest spring but i quite often got desync when speccing BA games so i abandoned this and rolled back boost and spring so i could at least play zk. Anyway, I am happy to help test building and running spring on arch before a release. The arch packager is doing a great job but i dont think he test building before a release is done so he often has to patch things. About the math namespace mess, to me it looked like not all parts of spring use the functions in math (streflop) in the kill-streflop branch. Wouldn't it be a good idea to use math namespace functions everywhere ? |

i've merged kill-using-namespace-streflop into the post_release branch, so it will be in spring 90.0. https://github.com/spring/spring/commit/ce4d36ed02a0f2a99858ec73e1c53e0c36933228 |
