| Summary | 0003208: Decals bugged when having no shadows and changing them only ingame. | ||||
| Description | Decals appear white and have strange reflection based on water. By "decals" I don't mean footprints. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | 1) Set shadows to off in Spring Settings. 2) While ingame change shadows setting with /shadows command. 3) Observe and/or create decals. Switching between windows(Alt-Tab) before step 2 fixes the issue. | ||||

Hm... I am wrong about step one. Setting it on or off doesn't matter. I ran into this bug only because I use FPSManager widget, which changes shadow settings. Only those that change shadows manually or using widgets like that get affected. Unless this is an Nvidia, certain GeForce Series and/or Windows issue. Due to Alt-Tab fix, it most certainly is a Windows issue. |
