| Summary | 0002569: Non-square unsynced heightmap update blocks | ||||
| Description | On rectangular maps the heightmap update blocks are rectangular, I think square blocks are nicer as they make scouting more symmetrical. If dynamic block sizes are kept could there be a lua function to get the size of these blocks? I know the blocks are dependant on the map dimensions so are technically already deducible but that would be a magic number in a widget and is subject to change within the engine. I think an explicit function to return the block sizes would be superior. | ||||
