I disagree. Don't open any spam if the user did not ask for it. However, it could be added at the top of an _optional_ release notes/readme popup after install. |

Couldn't the donate button be embedded directly in the final screen of the installer? I agree, don't open up a webpage after install. I HATE it when programs do that. |

Please don't. Users aren't likely to donate to something until they've tried it, the installer is the wrong time to hassle people (who will probably just go straight into the game). Anyone who really wants to donate will have no trouble finding the donate page when they're ready. *if* a webpage needs to open after install it should be instructional or promoting various games. In other words, you've installed Spring, now what... |

partly implemented, http://springrts.com/wiki/Read_Me_First is opened when selected by user. https://github.com/spring/spring/commit/c5cf5ff73988d40a0ff79006f3b8f23690e966bd and as other solutions are inacceptable -> fixed |
