Thinking about it, the screenshots are on the engine's site and so they are supposed to show the engine's abilities rather than games. Games have their own pages with pictures. So I think showing unreleased stuff there is ok, even "techdemo" stuff (ie the tree map) would be fine as long as it is properly labeld. Sadly this will never happen anyway. The bigger problem is that the site should be seperated into "Spring for content creators" and "Spring for players", ie the About page and wiki. |

So thinking a bit about what tags are useful and which are pointless. * I think we should consider all tags used only once for deletion. They just make the list long and are pointless. * Each game should use only one tag (now there is CA + Complete Annihilation for ex.) * Each item should be tagged with game and map (if applicable). * Each screenshot should have "No GUI" or "GUI" * Each screenshot should have "Released" or "Not Released" * Tech demos get "Techdemo" * If water visible, they get "Water" * Maybe same for some other particular engine/game features, but not too much. If I'm still a bit bored tonight, I might try to update tags according to these guidelines. |
