Hmm yes, this is indeed a slight regression wrt. the tree colors (uploaded shots from 81.2, my master shadows look the same as in your three pics). Thanks for the report :) |

I just found one very key element here: the trees arent black! They are just very dark colored, but otherwise correctly textured. They are dark both in ARB shaders as well as GLSL shaders. This only affects TREE_DIST, TREE_BASIC and TREE_NEAR are fine. |

Edit: nvm Edit 2: Its possibly related to fogfragcoord generation, as culling fog from TREE_DIST makes it look just fine. |
