Summary0001217: No warning message if required OpenGL support is missing
DescriptionIf the used graphic card drivers do have support for the required OpenGL extensions,
Spring should issue an error message something like this:
"Your graphic card drivers (and possibly your graphic card) do not support the required OpenGL extensions, which are needed to play spring."

(If it is not possible to check that, or to complicated, close the issue)
Additional InformationIt happened to me in Ubuntu, after installing a new kernel, that the default VESA drivers were in use, which have no OpenGL support.
What happened:
When loading the game, I got an error message stating that there was an error in groundFPshadow.fp at position 41 near "ARB_fragment_program_shadow;"
I think it should be more user friendly then that.
(I had shadows disabled)

This should be filed under Spring Engine not AI. Anyway, this friendly error message should probably advise people to update their graphics card drivers or post in the Help & Bugs forum.
