Summary0001190: Targetting issue
DescriptionIn 0.76b1, armflash in Balanced Annihilation shoots directly under an armgator.
In 0.77b5, armflash seems to shoot the corner of armgator's hitsphere.

The difference is due to the new coldet system. All units below a certain size threshold (like armflashes and corgators) now use raytracing for projectile hit-scans, which triggers missiles etc. to explode as soon as they impact the collision sphere (meaning, when they cross the surface). You can change the sphere to a more form-fitting volume if this upsets mod balance too much, but I have some engine finetuning in mind that may solve the problem another way.

The problem is that the flash now seem to do significantly less damage to gators than they used to. I'm not sure about hitsphere size changes, could cause more harm than good.

Resolved now; 76b1-style coldet behavior can be (re-)enabled in the next release.
