Summary | 0000962: spectator los / radar view incorrect
Description | Similar to the other two bugs, spectators should be able to view all los information all teams. This should be through either viewing all the los information when no unit is selected, or only the los information that belongs to the team of the unit selected. Similarly for radar/sonar etc.

This is a feature request. You can achieve the same result by the number keys (select a team) and "/specfullview" to toggle see all map / use teams los. But not that comfortable thought. |

Not quite the same as pressing the number keys. When no team is selected, and line of sights are visible, we should see the union of all los of all teams. when we press l, then all the los information is removed, and we just see all the units (as currently). |

Union doesn't really make sense, there's nothing interesting about the fact that someone can see a unit (the owner always can), the interesting thing is whether someone who doesn't own the unit can. |

Agreed, though what is interesting is the LOS when more than one team is selected: I might be interested in what a set of allies can see, rather than the other. Or if there are say 3 different teams, I might want to have a single view of what two of these can see of the third. Here it makes sense to have the union of the LOS of several teams. The simplest way for a spectator to interact is by selecting arbitrary units of the teams they're interested in. |
