Summary0003088: transported units can be used to cheat a bit (radar coverage or radar jam without unit in range)
DescriptionBuild a Marky and Atlas.
Select the Marky and put it into group 1 by pressing Ctrl+1
Load the Marky with the Atlas
Move the Atlas to the area of the map you want radar coverage on
Press 1. You should now have selected the Marky.
Turn the Marky off then on again

It is a more general problem with stunned units (transports stun their passengers when loading them).

In BA and probably other *A games, units that are stunned do not deactivate themselves (via Lua/COB) and also allow their active state to still be toggled, so even a regular static radar will continue to provide coverage when paralyzed, etc. Now the question is whether the engine should force them to.

hm, i don't think its needed to enforce it.

imo the bug here is, that the unit can be moved and the radar / area effect is still at the same pos...

blocked the exploit such that stunned units no longer give sensor coverage when they are activated
