| Summary | 0002125: SetUnitNoDraw no longer hides the unit icon as well as the model | ||||||||
| Description | Prior to 0.82 using SetUnitNoDraw would stop a units icon (playing field icon, not minimap) being rendered as well as its model. This is no longer the case. If this change was on purpose, perhaps a SetUnitNoIcon callout could be added to return the functionality. Also a unit set to no draw will still draw its shadow. | ||||||||
| Additional Information | Observable with latest release of S44 when you load infantry into trucks (the gadget unit_hideTransported.lua sets transported infantry to no draw, solely in order to hide their icons) | ||||||||
