Summary0000210: Screenshots make game halt
DescriptionMy system (w2k 1.7ghz 780+ram) halts (10 secs?) when the first screenshot is taken.

This can make multiplayer games drop, so ive give up taking screenthost in multiplayer.

This happens since .7 brach iirc.

However, i repeat, its only the first screenshot that takes that much.

The next screeenshots take like 3 secconds of halt only.

once moved, its back to normal thanks.

Yes, spring has a O(n) (linear time in the number of screenshots, ie. 2x as much screenshots takes 2x as much time) algorithm to figure out the first free screenshot index.

Because it's not really important I close the bug (won't fix).
