Summary0001347: Some buildings/units have a bugged animation
DescriptionSome buildings or units don't show build animation correctly, like the armlab (arm kbot factory) in *A (OTA) mods.
Steps to reproduce:
start building with a slow builder
notice the ground getting flattened like usual
at this point, the building starts but there is no visual notice, the fact that building has started can be noticed by both healthbars widget and resource consuption check.
when the build % reaches 15-20% the building animation starts appearing like it was 0%
when the building is complete, the missing part of building animation will vanish and will be replaced with a 100% model effectively missing about 20% of build animation.

This problem is present in all ota based mods... most of the models or buildings bugged are cavedog models, like armkbot factory or core mex
I noticed this bug in armed core mex too.

i've seen this too, didn't bother to report.

interesting thing is that the bug seems to disappear when using team-colored nanospray.

Here the bug appears consistently regardless if team-colored nanospray is set to on or off

could it perhaps have to do anything with that the "solid green part" and the "green wireframe part" do not always meet up together at the top of the model? Sometimes they end up higher (like the solar collector in BA), or lower (like the ARM kbot lab and the CORE nuke in BA).
Or is that a mod issue?

Recreate it is simple, you must take BA mod and build a arm kbot factory on a flat terrain. It happen alwais with all models where parts of them are underground, like missile silos or arm adv solars in BA. You can see this problem in others mod like xta too, so i dont think in a mod issue. (I have tried to redone arm kbot factory, deleting all underground parts, under this condition the engine seems work well, but it is only a "work around" to avoid this problem)
