Exploding pieces fly off from wrong position?

Has something like this ever happend to somebody?

A cow runs into a spinning haybale and the haybale suddendly appears into the air at a different location? :shock:

How comes Explode (bales, SFX.FALL) does not make it fly into the air at its correct position?

Also on mantis:

But I would like to know if this is known or a feature or normal or whatever?

This is strange.

I recall coming across something somewhat similar when messing with transport scripts, I was using Explode to see where a piece was, only it was exploding in the wrong place.

Does it explode in the right place if the bale is not spinning?

Also, I am interested in your animals.

(not) spinning makes no difference.
Also tried engine test version (not yet the very latest though) and it is the same problem.

The model is not by me, it is from argh's worldbuilder stuff:

By the file name the model seems to be originally from glest: glest_farm.s3o so all credits to there.

Certainly looks to be a bug, I suggest uploading a mini mod that exhibits the problem and linking to it in the mantis report.

obv. retest with a 0.83 build or it didn't happened.

the test version i tested is this:
Spring 0.82+.4.0 (0.82.3-3299-g94702d5)
Build date/time: Aug 21 2011 10:04:30

getting newest now...

installed this one:
