| Description | Fighter attack ground behaviour is broken since 91.0. Their attack behaviour may be broken in general but it is easiest to see in the case of ground attack. This behaviour is demonstrated in a replay. Fighters seem to fail to do three things: * Gain altitude after a pass. * Realize that they should move straight after a pass. * Bank to turn. | ||||||||

94.1.1-1481-gd04a2e2 works and 94.1.1-1486-g30f2a59 does not work. |

It turns out that 94.1.1-1486-g30f2a59 is 95.0.1. From this bound I think that this ticket is related: http://springrts.com/mantis/view.php?id=4062 The commit messages of this time say that the following commit was meant to fix the problem: https://github.com/spring/spring/commit/c9b9590f71814d04cb47447b75ac7b7805673364 Apparently it did not fix the problem and this commit was supposed to effectively revert the change. I assume that the change was not properly reverted which is why the attack ground behaviour was broken in 95.0.1. https://github.com/spring/spring/commit/0021e45f3dcda701ce5e8db0e1b15f63f7905812 I don't know how to get versions between 94.1.1-1481-gd04a2e2 works and 94.1.1-1486-g30f2a59 (I just happened to have these versions already). They do not seem to be available for download. |
