| Summary | 0004263: springsettings.cfg entries getting wiped | ||||
| Description | I put in my Spring 96 folder a custom springsettings.cfg containing: Fullscreen=0 AdvMapShading=0 AdvUnitShading=0 XResolution=1024 YResolution=768 I run and exit Spring springsettings.cfg now contains: Fullscreen = 0 InputTextGeo = 0.26 0.73 0.02 0.028 ShowPlayerInfo = 0 XResolution = 1024 YResolution = 768 Why were InputTextGeo and ShowPlayerInfo added ? (less important) Why were AdvMapShading and AdvUnitShading removed? (more important!) | ||||
| Additional Information | Spring up to 95 respected my springsettings.cfg entries. Even completely custom ones with key names unknown by spring. | ||||

Apparently this is because I had another springsettings.cfg in C:\Documents and Settings\<login>\My Documents\My Games\Spring\ When a key is present in both springsettings.cfg, and with the same value, it is removed from the springsettings.cfg next to spring.exe Bug or feature? |
