I also notice that spring sets AtiHacks = 1 but the cfg file has AtiHacks = 0
new information: sometimes it freezes at "Finalizing" instead
also while it is frozen it uses 100% on one of the CPU cores

update, soz it's misinformation, the new spring uses the subdir "1" for infologs, infolog updated (as infolog2.txt)

first run: freeze (with 100% cpu usage on one core) at Creating Smooth Height mesh
second run: freeze (with 100% cpu usage on one core) at creating PathCache

also I tried switching to another process after it froze, the switching froze my entire system, I had to use a kill-script to terminate the spring.exe process
